In his youth, Al Katz lost his home, family, worldly possessions, and virtually his entire world in the Holocaust. At the end of his life, in America, Al Katz lost virtually his entire world once again in professional guardianship in a case that continues to outrage the nation.
In his honor, the Al Katz Center advocates for elders in crisis nationwide.
