STUDENT INSIGHTS

“The [Holocaust] class that I took in high school gave me an entirely new respect for people, especially the Jews ….”

When I was in high school, I took a class on Holocaust education …. It was one of the most impactful classes that I’ve ever taken. My memories from this class will always be with me ….

I know that survivors of the Holocaust are passing away, and soon we will not have them around to speak with in person …. I believe that every student should have an education about the Holocaust. They need to see the evil that some people are capable of, and how to avoid repeating history ….

The class that I took in high school gave me an entirely new respect for people, especially the Jews …. I am a Christian …. As terrible as this is, the Holocaust needs to remain a reminder to people that this could happen again. Education serves as a reminder so that we do not repeat history. – Jordan
